Interfaith Dialogue: A guide for Muslims

192807-962618-thumbnail.jpgA new guide on interfaith dialogue is now available for readers under the title, Interfaith Dialogue: A guide for Muslims. Authored by Muhammad Shafiq and Mohammed Abu-Nimer, the Guide was developed as part of a larger project involving ISNA Leadership Development Center (ILDC) and Salam Institute. ILDC and Salam organized several meetings involving leading Muslim scholars and religious leaders to help shaped the Guide's contents.

The Guide provides an Islamic approach to interfaith dialogue with other communities of faith and outlines ethical issues and prudent practices that are essential for applying the Qur’anic directive of “argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.”

The Guide is used by ILDC for interfaith training programs, and can be ordered online from Islamicbookstore.com.
